I painted this one at the North Beach at Crandon Park during the Miami Plein Aire group's first Quick Draw event. This is the part of the beach where all the kite surfers congregate, especially on windy days like this was.
I am happy that my painting won the "Spirit of Crandon Park Award" at the quick draw. I wanted to express the energy of the windy beautiful beach day in this painting.
