I came across this compound of historic homes, built in 1933, in Old Tavernier.  It's rare to still find these old homes in the Florida Keys, built of Dade County pine.  The land is often worth much more than the home, but these 2 on the same property are being lovingly restored by their new owner. I felt happy coming across this property with the cheerful magenta bougainvillea and white picket fence, and did the painting on a sunny winter morning.
