This was painted in the morning, late February, at the 40 Mile Bend on Tamiami Trail. By the time I finished, the sky completely changed and the clouds had all left. Willows and grasses were getting new green growth, and the cypress trees had lost all their rust colored needles, ready for the spring flush of new growth.
